Job Description

  • Candidates should have communication skills in dealing with Project team and Vendors and having computer proficiency
  • To assure proper flow of procurement related information throughout the tenure of the Projects.
  • To provide necessary assistance to Project Manager in maintaining proper relationship with the Clients on procurement related matters during the execution of the Projects.
  • To control the compliance to procurement requirements during all stages of Project execution.
  • To ensure the on-schedule performance of all procurement related activities during the Project execution
  • Coordinate the procurement activities of the Project.
  • Issue periodically the MSR (Material Status Report) including those related to the arrival at site.
  • Verify observance of the schedules with the concerned parties and with the assistance of the PCM (Project Control Manager).
  • Signal to PEM (Project Engineering Manager) /PM potential problems.
  • Operate as an intermediary between the departments issuing MR and PROCU, by taking care of planning with PROCU the meetings with the suppliers in advance, in a manner so as to allow participation of all the concerned technicians.
  • Collaborate with Inspection Dept. and other concerned technical department to ensure delivery of equipment/material as per Purchase Order terms.
  • Coordinate with Shipping/logistics for finalisation of transportation plan for the Project and for release of SRN (Shipping Release Note).
  • Coordinate with Site for information regarding proper receipt of material at site. To coordinate with Site and Vendor for requirement of Vendor Field Services during erection/commissioning.
